Getting ready for 12 – Consolidate your Profiles

As we offer volumetric pricing for multi-license orders it is important that you ensure all your company’s Cadimage Tools licenses are registered to a ’single’ company.
With the new website we introduced a Company/People Hierarchy. Previously all users were created as individual records with individual orders and products.
Introducing the concept of a ‘Company’ that has one or more ‘People’ (users) assigned allows all company purchases to be accessed directly by any user, rather than having company purchases ’spread’ across multiple user logins.
Anyone who would like us to consolidate their company information into one single company record with multiple user logins please contact me on customer.care@cadimagetools.com

Stair Builder for ArchiCAD 12 – Movie #2

Stair Wish List
While browsing through ArchiCAD-TALK the other day we came across many threads dealing with and discussing Stairs – in some cases these discussions became incredibly heated.
We reviewed some of these threads and compiled essentially a Wish List for Stairs.
We have then reviewed these wishes in light of our recently released Stair Builder for ArchiCAD 12.
We rated each wish using the following 5 ratings:
- Can do – Easily
- Can do
- Can do – Partially
- Can do – Difficult
- Cannot do currently
Of the 55 wishes we believe we can do 32 of them Easily

Announcing Cadimage Tools and ArchiCAD 12
Cadimage Tools is pleased to announce that the Cadimage Tools for ArchiCAD 12 will be available for download in mid-July in conjunction with the international shipping of Graphisoft ArchiCAD 12.
“The Cadimage Tools for ArchiCAD 12 represent a milestone release in the history of Cadimage Tools” says Campbell Yule, Managing Director. “Over the last six months we have re-structured our development processes to align with the Graphisoft release cycle. These changes ensure our customers will have a smooth, timely transition to ArchiCAD 12 and all future ArchiCAD releases.”

Cadimage Tools ran a Beta Test in parallel with the ArchiCAD 12 Beta period which was extremely successful.
Free Upgrades
All Tools and/or Suites purchased from now on will automatically receive a free upgrade to the ArchiCAD 12 Tool or Suite.
All Cadimage Tools customers who have purchased Tools and/or Suites since 1st May 2008 will have these products upgraded at no charge – you will be notified once these free upgrades have been processed.
Availability
All Cadimage Tools (with the exception of the Wall Framing Tool) will be available for download from the Cadimage Tools website in mid-July.

New Online Support Portal Launched

You will see a new ‘Online Support’ link under the ‘My Account’ section of the menu.
You have to be logged in to enter a Support Item (so we know who you are!) then you can create an item.
Firstly you enter a few items to provide us with information about your enviorment eg Platform, ArchiCAD Version, the Tool you need support etc.
You then proceed to enter a description of the issue and you can upload a file that may be useful to us.
Once you have entered the item we will keep you informed via email as to the status. In some instances we will need to ask for additional information and the Support Ticket tracks the entire discussion.
At anytime you can login to the website and check the status of your items. If you manage to solve the issue you can close the Support Ticket.
You can also use the Forums on our Website to discuss any aspect of our tools -
